One mans tempting of fate
My back yard harbours more then you think
And if you took a gander;
Not a flower, you would see, to tap or to trip
But you’d see my hose
And perhaps you’d see my tows

My yard, It gives a sense of less,
Not more then you'd expect
But not something you'd adore
Four walls, no fence, no hills or trench
No bounty hence or special offense offense
Save from rover;
Who just rolled over, who’s sausages are abound

Could it be, that in this place, there is a hidden grace?

By lying down, the world now changes
Mountains seem to grow
Once nothing, there is now something
Taking the place of empty space, rolling hills now flow
Valleys that beckon
Forest often follow
There are endless dunes and dessert spaces
New found hills, and wondrous places
Ever fun and quite long ranging
And with every angle things seemingly changing
Open spaces most sublime

In this place a finger can be God
To Conquer or to devour
The power to change an entire land
Make dams, change lives
Rest with my hands
I must restrain
For with this power, I may become to vein.

This brand new world, this wild west
Alien lands, strange and untamed
No fences, no signs or care
And farther down
There’s even less
Yet, seemingly it's more
Twisted, winding, narrow caves
where worms seem to play

Trying to see all that I may,
I bring intelligence to the fray
Sight, that’s right
Taste that’s great
My smell that’s swell
My touch, that’s a must
Plus my hearing for further peering

I first licked a flower
But nothing special
Then touch a flower
It then breaks like a tower, with some kinda awesome power
And then I listen, but not a crickets even hear
To be un-typical, not that physical
I must see what I cannot

To measure things I cannot see, I’ll have to go olfactory
Of the beauty of unseen places
it is best left to my nasal graces

One eye closes and then the other
Smells, now delight
Dande-lions with no bite
Aromas of crisp green grass
Fragrance that truly lasts
Unseen without my tout snout
My mind is filled with beauty
Those woffs, deep piffs, whiffs and sniffs
Have given me a glare, deep Into unseen air
Deeper reaches, of the great unknown
Shall be revealed by my peepers
Expanses to which I may roam

My eyes now burst, shout and open
To mountains of monstrous ants and strange plants
Skyscrapers of grass
Beatles like buses, and odd shaped trusses
No end to this new scale
Great things abound all 'round

Ever reaching to explore
The creatures I adore
Like whales of snails
Bugs that look so snug
But maybe it's to endlessly
To big for me
To much for one man to try and see
For as far as I can
It's seem to not end
It goes on and on, endlessly

I pull away, with to much to see
It' s hard to choose my way
Easy to tell, where I dwell, is far less strange to me
And as far as I can tell, much less of it to see.
