Romantia: Alonso and Louisa

This story isn't exactly a Romeo and Juliet retread, like The Sound of Music. It was originally the story of an agent for the Dominicans's, trying to incriminate "Relapsos" for trial before the Spanish Inquisition. Louisa had been trained in a convent to gather information on converted Catholics who were suspected of practicing the Jewish faith in secret. Alonso was a second generation New Christian, trying to walk the line between the culture of his forefathers and his new Christian beliefs.

In the contemporary version Alonso is a wholesale drug dealer for the Cartel. His territory is an easter seaboard city. He has been successful because he doesn't employ any second tier infrastructure and handles everything from a computer in his basement. It is not hooked to the internet. He receives the product personally using a host of disguises and distributes the packages to blind drops. He receives payment in the same manner. Anybody who fails to to play by his rules is sanctioned.

Louisa is an undercover policewoman planted in his home as a housekeeper. Her job is to gather information that will incriminate Alonso.

In the process they both find themselves drawn into a love relationship.
