Mom sent me to the store to get tonight’s dinner; I growled the whole walk there. “Why can’t you walk?” I mumbled as I walked out the door, but not loud enough for her to hear it. She was cooking gooey macaroni and cheese, fried crispy chicken wings with mushroom soup. The only reason I walked all the way there was because this was my favorite meal that she can cook. She sent me to the store for macaroni shells, chicken wings and mushrooms. This is what I murmured the whole way there, “shells, wings and mushrooms, shells, wings and mushrooms.” I get in the store as I look around I walk down an aisle then recognize I didn’t remember what my mom sent me to the store for. A cashier passing by asks me,
“What are you looking for miss?”
“A winged shell to put in my mushroom?”
