My response to the hypocritical treatment of "humanity" as a concept nowadays.
A man died today,
A man like you and I,
Granted, he was twisted,
Twisted by a world made by men,
Like you and I.

The man was celebrated,
For some he was a hero,
For some he was a demon,
And from both points of view,
He was alive.

He died, aware of what he did,
As aware as you are now.
Yet awareness seems to vary,
As sides are often not the same,
Opinion shifts.

And so, to celebrate the death,
Of one who killed with "purpose".
While killing for the purpose,
Of celebrating death,
Seems vain.

At what point does blood-lust,
Suddenly stops being lust for blood?
And when does it become,
Righteousness for one,
Murder to all.

For if right is child's play,
That erupts into a fight,
Is it the one who started it,
He whom deserves to die?
And all is right...
