This is a story solely created by my 8 year old son! I typed, he spoke. It is ALL HIM :)
Once upon a time, there lived lots & lots of dragons; and that place where they lived was a giant nest. There were lots of worker-dragons that weren’t all that biggish-little. But one thing is, they were controlled by the king & queen. All the workers went to this one village. They started to attack all the Vikings & other people that lived there. Then the dragons blew fireballs out of their mouth & lit houses on fire. All the Vikings came out & fought the dragons; the dragons were easily hurt because they were fighting. So, what happened is the Vikings had shields had to block themselves from the fire & fireballs.

There was a dragon that no Viking or person had ever seen before. First, is this dragon was all black. Second, this dragon was quick. Third, this dragon has never missed when he shot his lightning & fireballs & water balls. No one ever wanted to see this dragon before. There was this one guy that was going into the woods when the battle was going on between the Vikings & dragons. He was going out into the woods to try to find the dragon; he came up to him & found him lying there tied up on a rope. The dragon’s head was tied up, his wings were tied up. So the guy got out his knife & cut all four ropes. The dragon, having been set free, put his hands on the guy; one hand on the shoulder, one hand on the neck. The dragon put the guy up against the rock, and put up his wings, and roared in his face. The dragon attempted to take off & fly, but found he couldn’t because one of the wings on his tail was missing. So the dragon ran to the village & he started running & shooting fireballs, lightning bolts at the people, and at the buildings. The buildings caught fire because of the dragon’s fireballs & lightning bolts. Then the dragon shoots out water balls towards the burning homes to put the fires out.

The dragon went back home to rest. When he woke up, he realized the part of the tail that was missing had grown back in. After he was done resting, he realized that he could fly again. When he took off flying, he came across that same guy from before who had a fish & a shield. When the dragon noticed the shield, the dragon decided to turn back for home. The guy then went back to the village to take dragon training so he could learn how to fight a dragon; just not the one he met in the woods. When the guy was walking back to the dragon’s home, a different dragon approached him that was coming in front of him. This dragon was called “Simple Back”. He has two heads. The right head shot smoke with ink within the smoke. The left head shot fire out to light the smoke at the same time as the right head shot smoke out. The guy put up his hands, turned to his right, and backed the 2-headed dragon into a tree. The 2-headed dragon got scared, and flew away. So the guy continued towards the original dragon’s home.

When the guy got there, he found the dragon just lying there. The guy came this time without a fish, a knife, or a shield. The dragon opened his mouth in expectation of food; and it seemed as if the dragon had no teeth. Just then, the teeth popped out of the gum line. The guy got a fish to feed the dragon. After feeding the fish to the dragon, the dragon coughed up part of the fish to give to the guy. That was the dragon’s way of offering some of the fish to share. So they shared the fish together peacefully. After they finished the fish, the dragon wanted the guy to take a ride on the dragon. The dragon took the guy to Burke.

This is the name of the dragon’s nest. When they got inside the opening to the nest, he found a collection of dragons were dropping food into a large hole to feed the giant king & queen dragon. The last dragon came in to drop the food out of its mouth to the king & queen dragon. The king & queen dragon roared loudly. The king lifted his giant mouth up & grabbed the dragon that dropped the last bit of fish out of its mouth. The guy that was riding the dragon told the dragon to hurry up & get out of the nest. As the guy & his dragon were trying to escape, the king & queen dragon came out of the whole to try to grab whatever dragons were lagging behind. The guy & dragon goes back to the dragon’s home. He gets off the dragon to head home. The dragon lights a circle in the grass to lay down to rest. The guy leaves & makes it home.

The next morning, there was dragon training. It was with Ogronkle. Once the training was over, the guy went to his house & then started to make a seatpatch for when he rides on the dragon. He made a saddle to also put on the dragon’s back. The guy then headed to the dragon’s home to place the saddle & seatpatch on the dragon. The dragon was brought a bunch of fish; there was also a smoked eel in the pile. The dragon sniffed out the eel & turned his nose up at it. The guy removed the eel from the pile of fish & threw it off in the grass. After the dragon finished enjoying the fish, the dragon put his head through the basket that was carrying all the fish. The basket quickly fell of the dragon’s face. The dragon felt the desire to fly, so he did. He flew straight into the air, and began to decline into the water. He landed in the water, and swam a little. He got out of the water, and rolled through the grass. Then the guy got on his back, and flew back to the dragon’s home. After a while, the guy went home. Once the guy got to the village, he found thousands of dragons attacking people, lambs, sheep, homes, etc. The guy avoided danger & getting hurt thankfully. One of the dragons that were attacking people noticed the guy standing there. After a few seconds, the attacking dragon spread his wings & flew off. The guy’s dragon flew in & came to rescue his friend from the other attacking dragons. They got into a serious fight; the attacking dragon ended up getting killed. The Vikings ended up trapping the friendly dragon, and locked him up on a ship. The Vikings sailed off to the dragon’s nest in order to destroy the other dragons. When the Vikings arrived, they were equipped with rock-launchers to bust holes in the nest for dragons to come flying out.

Before the dragons come flying out, & after the rocks were launched, a boulder was launched that was on fire. The boulder landed in the nest & caused the dragons to come flying out. The king & queen quickly came out & grabbed some of the Vikings, roared at some of the other Vikings, and then roared at the ships. All the ships got lit on fire except the first one that got roared at. The guy & his friends flew in on his friendly dragons to rescue all the other friendly dragons. Once they arrived & rescued his friends, the guy got on his dragon & started flying. They blasted a fireball at all three of the left eyes, and then at all three right eyes. Then blasted one fireball at the wings of the King & Queen, as well as the back end of the King & Queen. When the King & Queen opened their mouth to roar, they got a fireball in their mouth. Both the king & queen got blown up. When the battle was over, the dragon fell down and darn near got burned. After the dragon showed under his wings, the father of the guy realized that his son was alive after all, and that the dragon saved his life. When the guy woke up, he was back at home… and his friend dragon was right at his bedside. The dragon started to chew on the toy that the guy’s father bought while sitting at the guy’s bedside. Even though the guy had a broken leg, he still got out of bed & went outside his home. He noticed a bunch of dragons were in the village, and they were getting along with the Villagers. The Villagers also began to like the guy after all. Even though the guy had a broken leg, he went flying on his dragon, as did many of the villagers on their dragons. The guy was leading his human friends on their dragons. THE END
