Just spur of the moment writing. Yes, I tried to make it rhyme. :P
The start of anything, of life, of today,
Of everything, interlaced; the same way.
All leading similar but diverse lives,
Just as one departs, another arrives.

Unknown to the faceless masses,
We walk this road of life with broken glasses.
Unsure of what the next day brings,
We pass each day in analogous rings.

Some wake to the deafening sound of irritating machines,
That tears annoyingly through our wondrous dreams.
Others to the harmonic patter of rain-like pellets that grazes by,
Easing them awake from their sleepless dazes that lie.

Some locked away by chilling gales,
Safety found in silver structures upon screeching rails.
While other rush past the warm blazes of mist,
Safety found in silver boxes that still exist.

Learning is also very common, but variously done,
Whether tactics to survive post-secondary,
Or to pass the next day with survival 101.

Laughter can be heard from all across the world,
The shrill cry for a brand new toy so greatly,
Or the joy from the news of their family’s safety.

Falling fast asleep to the thunderous tone,
Of the television still on with a static groan.
The rhythmic clap of missiles high above,
Stealing many from those they love.

In this world people continue forth,
But some realities are of no worth.
Everyday, throughout the earth, such stories strive by,
To make their presence known, to let loose and fly.

The funny thing is that in the end,
It’s really all the same my friend.
Life goes by like the money you spend,
Similar like crossing rivers in the monsoon’s blend.
