A Wayward Path

Many times I have walked down a wayward path.
I have committed many sins on the Devil's behalf.
My wayward path has been long and curvy walk.
Forsaken God for the evil Satan and I've talked.

God, give me the strength to overcome evil sins.
Please cleanse me God of the evil I hold within.
Except my repentance I now humbly beg of You.
Give me a chance to prove my strong faith is true.

Promise God to walk a straight path until the end.
Worship Him now and forever He's my best friend.
I'm glad I found God before it was to late for me.
Just to have His strong love is a blessing you see.

I love God He is my Creator and almighty Savior.
My best friend and forever my supreme Master.
God won't forsake me should one foot go astray.
He'll stand by me and protect me for all my days.
