Fat Cat

The fat cat sat on a mat.
When stuck in rhyming, that
Is what kids use.
They don't call upon their own muse
They take that line to beat and abuse.

What of the feelings of the fat cat?
I'm sure it would not appreciate that.
Perhaps it pays for therapy
"No one else likes me!"
Is what it would cry,
But that is a lie--
If the fat cat sat on a mat
Outside my home, that
Would trigger me
To give it a loving home
Eternally.
