At Rest

Now that I'm gone I will rest in peace.
I will wait for God to come for my soul.
To take me away and to heaven gate.
Ride the wings of an angel to heaven.

I'm not sure what God's heaven is like.
I'm ready to go and I'll not coming back.
From the Hell here on earth to paradise.
So through the pearly gates I must go.

God take me to Your city of pure gold.
Take my soul to stay in heaven forever.
I have wanted to take a flight to heaven.
Live with God and His angels up there.

I hope my old bones are worthy of Him.
I want to go where my Master reigns.
I want to stay where the angels sing.
To a place where God is the only king.
