Letter



I just had to write to you,
As soon as possible to
Tell you how I felt.

The truth is a moment doesn’t pass
Without my thoughts
Turning to you.

The vision of you floods my senses
With beauty, and my heart is
Filled with a diverse inspiration.

You are the fulfillment of all my dreams,
Hopes, desires, and you have
Given me a renewed optimism towards life.

It is very important to me to express
To you, how much you really mean
To me.

I wish I could do this in person,
While holding you in my arms
And gazing into your eyes.

But, since we are physically separated
By miles of emptiness, this
Expression must come in the form
Of a letter such as this.

I know how difficult it is for you
To be separated for so long.

Life seems to be full of trials,
That tests our inner strength,
And more importantly, our
Devotion and love for
One another.

After all, it is said that “true love”
Is endless and overcomes all forms
Of misfortune.

The truth is if it is genuine,
It will grow stronger with
Each assault upon its existence.

Our love has been attacked many times,
And I’m convinced that it is true
Because the longer I’m away
From you, the greater is my
Yearning to be with you again.

You are my enchanting prince and
I’m your devoted princess.

I cherish every thought of you,
Treasure any memory of you
Which rises from the depths
Of my mind.

I long for the day when our
Physical separation will
Be inevitable.

Until that moment ceases,
I send you across the miles,
My tender love, my warm embrace
And my most passionate kiss.
