Unfixable

          She scrawls the words across every wall,

of the room she has created inside her head

in this room, she lets herself run free

the place where she can scream, can cry

                    And still hide




          He puts up walls, no one can get through

he breaks the rules, tries to get through it all

he makes everyone believe he’s alright,

but when he tries to stand on his own, he falls

                    Hidden away in his empty soul




          She stains the carpet with her tears,

the blood from her torn up life,

writes the message she wishes she could share

across every wall, not leaving one bare

she can scream at her motionless owner, to let her out

                    And still hide






         He depends on this reckless behavior

it’s the only thing to keep him company at night

he breaks when he finds himself alone

he buries his problems deep in his mind, his thoughts lost,

                    Hidden away in his empty soul







         She waits for someone to come and rescue her

hoping someone will see the message she has written on the inside

on the outside she looks strong and calm

inside her walls she breaks herself down

she scratches away at her own soul, she wants to break out

                   And still hide






         He's curled up in a tight little ball

hidden away in a dark empty hole

refusing to let anyone inside with him

he pushes everyone away, secretly wishing they'd come to his aid

he doesn't let that part show, he bottles it up

                    Hidden away in his empty soul






          She wants someone to peer into her body's eyes

in the silence they'll hear the inner voice

she screams on the inside, waiting to be released

maybe they will look into her eyes and see her

in her little room, crying into the corner, her message on the walls

Can't do it. H e l p.           Never will someone see the real her

                    Still hiding.






         He dreams away the unfixable problems

pushes away his own thoughts, failing to mend the wounds

at night he screams and tries to hide the secrets inside

He hides the fact that he needs someone by his side

always forgetting that there's no one there to catch him wen he falls

                    He's hidden away in his empty soul




                              It can't be fixed, the pieces no longer fit together,

                              Unfixable lives, hidden away, lost with no way back





                    He doesn't release the screams from his thoughts
                    She rips apart her heart with every word they say
