I Love America
I love America!
This is my home and the place I want to be.
I was born in the land of freedom,
from the cities to the beautiful sea.
There are heroes who save us from heart break.
Living angels do acts of kindness each day.
We can dream and then fulfill our passions
from the Olympics to a baby at play.
Hope is given to victims of tragedy.
Strangers share gifts of money and time.
Homeless people are guided to shelters with
prayers for answers to fix problems sublime.
I’m thankful for all I have been given.
I have no reason to complain.
My responsibility is to love my homeland and honor it.
And continue what our Founding Fathers ordained.
