Horror by Night

Stumbling through the forest, Jessie gazed around her. Tree's and under bush, out lined the entire area and yet she felt she wasn't alone. A shadow loomed over her, she turned, gasped at first, tripped over a log and screamed.

Through thought of her own, she knew that she was lost. Her friends didn't know what had happened, gazing up she spied the creature that startled her. It was just an owl, sitting on a branch. It hooted twice, then flew off as if something had spooked it.
