Decoded my mind much like an open book,

exposed my every fear with a tear as they cheer.

My heart is left only full of words,

I wished for through many chords.

Conquer my fears to honor your name,

instead my heart was put to shame.

Wanted the past to stay away,

and to feel the rain and make me sway.

My mark on the world deduced to fun,

finding my way shattered under the sun.

Told myself I will not hide,

nor let the devil have my pride.

I am nothing without my soul,

but a story within a lull.
