Magic and Science merge to allow people take a vacation with someone else's identity. |
| In a world known to very few, a small company has merged Magic with Technology to offer the ultimate escape from the day to day tedium of life. The opportunity to live someone else's life. The company is known as The Nexus, and the fees they charge for their services are substantial. Half of those fees are paid to carefully recruited volunteers who 'rent' their lives to the company's clients. Those clients range from the very wealthy who can indulge in a guilty pleasure vacation in someone else's life, to the very desperate who would do anything to escape their own life, even if just for a few days. Characters: Lisa Hale: Our main character. Age: 18, height 5'7", she is physically fit with B-cup breasts and shoulder length brown hair. She is considered pretty by most, in a very 'active girl' kind of way. In high school, she was involved in cheer leading and dance, as well as cross country. Her family is fairly normal, upper middle class, and Lisa has been a fairly successful student through school. Having just graduated, she is preparing for her last summer vacation before starting college in the fall. She has decided, however, to rent her life out to The Nexus for the summer, as a way to pay for school in the fall. Martin Hale: Age 16, Lisa's younger brother. He's a 5'10" soccer player and all around party kind of guy. Many of his friends have been seen pining after Lisa, but most consider her to be 'out of their league.' Martin has a tendency to get others in trouble, and Lisa has made it a point to distance herself from him in recent years. Stephanie Hale: Age 14, Lisa's younger sister, she's 5'3, A-cup, and very much idolizes her older sister. Lisa has put up with it, mostly because she would rather Stephanie follow her example than follow Martin's. Robert Hale: Age 46, is Lisa's father. He works hard as a software engineer and keeps the family in a comfortable standard of living. His work requires him to travel frequently, overseeing projects around the globe, and in recent years, he's only been home 1-2 weeks a month. Elizabeth Hale: Age 39, is Lisa's mother. She stands 5"9, and expects that Lisa will likely grow another few inches to match her own height, if not taller. Her long brown hair has started to fade in recent years, and her full D-cup breasts are starting to fell the pull of gravity, still, she has kept active and maintains a fit figure. She has been a stay at home mom since finishing college, having given birth to Lisa in her senior year, and is very active in the community. Tom Anderson: Age 18, is Lisa's on again / off again boyfriend. Currently off after Tom told her she shouldn't worry about getting the money to pay for college because there's no point of her going to school if she's going to stay home and take care of the kids. Tom will be attending the same college as Lisa plans to, but is attending on a foot ball scholarship. He stands 6'3", well muscled and is handsome in a 'rugged' kind of way. Megan Rhodes: Age 17, is Lisa's best friend from child hood. She is a 5'5" blond, bubbly cheer leader with full C-cups. Megan is the one who encouraged Lisa to become a cheerleader. While she's generally a good girl, she's fallen into the trap of her own success and become something of a social butterfly. She goes to all the right parties, and hangs out with all the most popular people, which on occasion gets her (and Lisa) into trouble. Others? Feel free to create your own! RULES: 1) The Nexus does 2 things when it conducts a trade between the client, and the renter. First, reality itself is bent so that people will treat the client as Lisa, and will treat Lisa like the client. For all intents and purposes, they trade identities. Second, The Nexus will download skills from the client that will be necessary for Lisa to fill in their life while the client vacations in her life. Only skills are copied, no other memories. 2) Anything that would physically change the body, stays with the life it was done in. IE: If someone decides to dye their hair blond while living Lisa's life, Lisa's hair will become blond when she comes back to her life. 3) Clients can choose how long they want to live Lisa's life, it just costs more to stay as her longer. Other than that, keep it reasonable. The story is rated 18+, sex is fine. Feel free to leave unexpected consequences for Lisa to return to when she returns to her life between rentals. You can either follow Lisa, or follow the person living her life, or flip back and forth, just make it clear who's POV you're writing from. I may edit for grammar / spelling, and chapters that are particularly poorly written may be deleted.
