a political writing |
I see a day when politics argue not to prove who is worse than the other but for what is best for their countrymen I see a day when race is not a bad thing or something we should be blind to but instead White, Black, Asian, Native American, Indian, Middle Eastern and Hispanic are all equally celebrated I see a day when all genders and sexual orientations are all nothing more than minor details I see a day when people try to change some ones religion by proving how much their religion can love I see a day when rich and poor no longer have to live in separate parts of town I see a day when guns are allowed but not required I see a day when we don’t fight drugs with laws but by educating in a way that works I see a day when education uses the tools of the modern world instead of shunning them I see a day when gang members burn there colors because their loyalty is to their country I see a day when creativity once again runs wild I see a day when jobs and schools no longer work like assembly line when a loss to a company matters and schools make sure they loose no one I see a day when all men are free, free speech, free to assemble, free to live their lives I see a day when no one is ever left abandoned and alone I see a day when a politicians word is binding I see a day when we are all brothers and this is a world my god can be proud of we may be kind, we may be peaceful, we may be creative, we may be the under dogs, we may be idealist, we may be young and naïve but there the ones stupid enough to think those are weakness |
