Three trouble-makers get left behind by thier tribe...what happens next?
Crickets chirped cheerfully in the grasses of the river. The hot summer sun was beating down upon the busy jungle of the Amazon River, where an Indian tribe was packing up their belongings to move to a location closer to the wide river of the Amazon. However, no one knew the exact reason. Although the tribe leader said it was because of the food and water supply running out, everyone knew there was plenty. But no one argued. Arguing against the tribe leader was against their laws. The tribe leader sent Grando, Frander, and Blapha, who usually caused a lot of trouble, to catch fish in the nearby stream for the short journey, and he was smirking as he was doing it. As they ran to catch fish, the tribe left, forgetting that they had left the three boys behind. “That’ll teach them.” He muttered in satisfaction.

Meanwhile, the three boys had quickly jumped into the cool waters of the stream; unaware of that their tribe wasn’t there. It was their favorite place, and they felt a little sad to leave it behind. The boys began to catch fish, filling up their woven baskets. One fish jumped out of the basket, flipping and flopping its way back into the stream. The boys followed the little fish as it swam all the way to a small waterfall near the stream. The fish was nowhere in sight. The boys didn’t seem to notice; they were too busy staring at the wonders around them.Behind the small waterfall, there was a secret hidden cave! The boys were filled with awe, looking at the scintillating crystal stones that hung on the sides of the walls. They noticed that the cave had another end, on the other side!

With curiosity, they walked silently to the other side. When they came out at first, it looked exactly like the side they lived on, but it was slightly different: The trees were twisted this way and that, and the flow of the water slightly different. They also noticed a strange, white pipe sticking out of the rocks.

“What is this?” Grando, the youngest boy asked, pointing at the pipe. The other boys shrugged, and they took some time to get used to their surroundings. There was way more water here than on the other side, and boats were docked on the nearby rocks. Boats? The boys thought. That means there must be other people living here! And so, they walked forward, to the newly found place. Just then, a tall man walked forward. He had a big body build, and he wore a giant helmet with feathers sticking out of it. His lion-skin clothes spoke control and power.

“Hello, young boys. What brought you here?” He spoke.

Blapha, the oldest boy, said: “Excuse me, sir, but....where are we?”

The man laughed. “You don’t know? You are in the famous Zwesome Tribe. I am the leader, Zwesome.”

The boys glanced at each other. They had never heard of a tribe with a name like this. In fact, they didn’t even know that people lived on the other side of cave.

Zwesome took the boys and showed them around. The boys were puzzled, as they had never seen such technological advances before. They saw....doors that opened on their own, switches that controlled light with a mere touch...There were also other very welcoming tribe members with what looked like small circles on their wrists that somehow told people time, and giant triangular objects on their feet that helped them walk. When the three boys asked, Zwesome just said with a twinkle in his eyes, “It’s magic. The gods have given us such things.”

“Join our tribe.” Zwesome said, “We’d love to have more members like you.”

The boys looked at one another, unsure of what they should do.

“Really. Come join us. We’ll make a much better family than your old tribe. All of us care for one another. No one is left behind.”

Just then, the boys realized what had happened.

“You know our tribe?!” The boys asked in unison.

“Yes,” Zwesome said with a smirk, “And they’ve left you. Come with me.” And so, the boys followed Zwesome into a room. There was a telescope there, but the boys had no idea what it was. “You see, they have left without you. They don’t care!” The boys looked into the telescope, and sure enough, their tribe was already far far away.

“No! This is false! Our tribe couldn’t have left us!” Frando protested, but he knew that it was true.

“Why would they do this?” Grando asked. “Why did they leave us?”

“I told you. I heard from your other tribe leader that you were trouble makers. But I don’t really believe his words--you don’t look naughty at all! I’ll let you into our tribe without a problem!” Zwesome exclaimed. “You can be my sla--I mean, workers. You’ll do well.” The three boys shrugged--why not waste such a good chance? Besides, the other tribe was way too far to catch up with them.

Days followed by, and the boys worked on many different things they were good at--making arrows, helping crafting swords, even moving piles of bricks from one construction site to another. Zwesome encouraged them, even gave them sweet treats! This was all the same until a week after they initially arrived, the boys got bored.

“This is getting boring.” Grando complained, throwing a rock into the lake.

“Yeah, let’s do something exciting. Like pranking him.” Frander suggested, but Blapha shook his head.

“If he finds out, he’s gonna kick us out of this tribe!” Blapha exclaimed.

“But he isn’t going to find out.” Grando said with a smirk, and the boys gathered together to listen to his plan.

“AHHHHHHHH!” A voice screamed, and a woman walked out of her house, soaked completely wet, with frogs jumping out from each of her shoulders. It was about half an hour later, and the boys were high-fiving each other.

“Great job!” Grando said to the other boys. Just then, Zwesome came over, with a shadow consuming his face. He pointed to each of the boys, then motioned them to come with him.

“Uh oh.....He found out. But how?” Frander whispered, and the other boys just frowned and shook their heads. They continued to follow Zwesome into a crimson red room, wondering what their punishment would be.

“Sit.” Zwesome said. It was more of a command than an invitation. “You have done well over the past few days, helping our tribe. But today......” He said, then he pressed a button, and a gun spun out of the ceiling, straight into his hands. He pressed that button two times, and two other guns spun out onto the floor. The boys were confused, but they understood that there was a threat. They stood up to leave, but the door locked. The windows were shut tight. The boys gulped as they looked at each other. Zwesome then pointed a gun at Grando. Grando was sweating nervously, waiting for Zwesome to do something....

“Take it.” He said.
