A Birthday Poem

I feel like I'm floating on air
I'm jumping around with such flare
Indeed, I'm extra excited
Scrap that, I'm bloody delighted


Waves of colours float all around
The choice of which simply astound
Coming to life just before dawn
Seen the awesome awardicon?


People involved give up never
They really are quite clever!
Difficult to dismiss the joy
Reaching Britain in a convoy


I for one am so proud to state
I was here for the big date
If I could I'd give you a hug
But I'd require a magic rug


Only thing I have left to say
Have a very Happy Birthday
Big thank you for all that you do
