Mindless, Soulless Zombies

A life without meaning
Is not a life.
It is but a simple survival
With no reasoning at all.
How can we consider those
Who live in the moment
Really and truly alive?
Without meaning,
Are they not just
Wandering the earth
Like mindless, soulless zombies?
Mindless, soulless zombies; yes,
Yet people look up to them.
If the outside matched the in,
No one would approach.
After all, who would want to be
Near a disease infested
Brainless undead monster.
