About a dystopian system and its flaws. Based on Aldous Huxley's novel 'Brave New World'.
We are marionettes controlled by tendrils of fear, is this our fate?
Can we tear through the ropes that strangle us or is it too late?
We know not about disobedience nor discontent.
We cook meals, carry crates, but cannot catch the devil's scent.

We were birds and there were no chains that matched,
But they cut our wings, and our will was detached.
We are no stars only because we are watching the stars,
But they carved up our eyes, so all we do is count our scars.

Was there a time when God had not forgotten about his breed,
Now we have a misbegotten idol carved in cold clay, Ford-speed !
Soma fixes our misery, broken bones and a twisted spine,
A system running so fluid that it seems all but divine.
