I was dog hunting one day, I was on the edge of a swamp, what a perfect day to be hunting and I saw a glimmer of brown out of the corner of my eye. It was in the thicket. Moving slowly through the brush. What is that behind the tree? I caught patches of white, I just knew it was a deer, so I shot it three times. As I went into the bushes to claim my prize, I figured out it was a hunting dog that strayed from the pack. I figured out it was one of our best deer dogs. Man what am I going to tell Billy, he’s going to kill me.
