A small love poem from the viewpoint of a long distance relationships. |
While I seize the night In ebony hands, You seize my mind, my thoughts, Under witty words and lols. You give me solace In a quiet reprieve, Among nocturnal emissions And simple worded submissions. My distant muse, Blocked from me by glass, And miles upon miles Of useless space and figures. I seize this space, And let it expand between My chubby and clumsy strokes Against the keys, the mountains, your door Waiting for you to come to me With your sweet smile and honey words That go beyond just a roleplay, Just a chat, just a moment in cyberspace. It's just you and me, floating in space. This cyberspace, while I seize the night And you seize my heart, And my attention, that drifts like a bee From you to sweet honey. I bring you this honey, to eat And enjoy, and sink into my unseen arms, My spoken kisses that want to be real, Those moments of touching glass Pretending it's your skin, Your eyes, your lips, you. Those moments draped in shadow and tossed about clothing, My eyes on the screen Hoping to pierce your soul. And have you come to me, And break this useless space And faceless people And deceiving profiles of pedophiles As they talk to each other, Lie to each other. But you don't lie to me. Not so far, it seems. You show me your face, your words, your voice, yourself. It seems so real, you seem so real Are you real, am I real? I know I'm real, not a robot or a program with drawn art. I'm me, a human, with you, a human And I want to touch you Like I do in our shared cyberworld. I seize the night, Its typos and blue screens, And real people and robots, Meeting in a chatroom Like a party in a neighborhood Where everyone is invited, Just follow the Terms of Service. I seize this cybernight While I seize your real heart, And you seize all of me. The real me. Loving the real you. While we seize the night. |
