I remember my pregnancy with you.
I fell in love with your every move and the sound of your beating heart.
I held your precious body in my arms for the first time and took in your sweet presence.
Nothing could prepare me for what lie ahead.
Nothing could've prevented my heart from breaking but it was done.
I tried to be strong, by my strength failed me.
I never knew it would be so difficult to sign my name.
I cried, and was grateful for all the memories you gave me.
It was a new beginning for you.
The healing was beginning for me.
