He opened the sealed envelope from his former wife. “Another demand for reconciliation” he thought!

Without reading it, he dropped it on the table and turned to Judith, his nubile young neighbor.

“More wine?”

As he poured, he watched her eyes widen alarmingly! Her mouth gaped open and she gestured frantically toward the table.

He turned just in time to see, in the smoke, where the letter lay smoldering on the table, a bony hand that reached out and grabbed him by the throat.

“I called her a witch, but didn't believe it!”  He died!
