Thy first spark hit the universe - then BANG!
The gift of life shot forth - while angels sang.

Thy quarks of energy gave rise to ALL -
Within Thy grand creation - Ye enthrall.

Both science and religion seek the key;
If they could stop reacting - both would see

That something caused that spark out there in space,
With planets, suns and moons - the Human Race!

Our bickering won't help us find our truths -
(God knows! Both sides have mass amounts of sleuths)

Our lives demand there's purpose to our being -
To grasp the facts of life - would be so freeing...


So many thoughts to ponder in the night -
So many ways to wonder which is right...
