This desire is so strong
It lingers more every day.

For a very long while
It has grown in size.

Feelings fallow along
As I look for the way.

Always showing a smile
And hiding behind lies.

Anger, sorrow and sadness
This is desire working.

Concentration is shot
Oh so much a mess.

Just want to go running
But no place have I got.

Most days drag on slow
And the nights never end.
