A short, to the point poem about living my life that way I feel most comfortable. |
-Live Through This- by Keaton Foster Death by words Suicide in due time Nothingness so sublime Entrails unbound An impossible weight Struggled to be lifted up Easily dropped backed down Crushing has become everything The pain is greater than before More than ever thought possible But I keep moving Climbing from one moment to the next Dragging myself while screaming heck Few dare listen Even less hear what I’m saying Upon deaf ears I plead for mercy I of course know that they’ll be none Live through this A passing astuteness expressed by some A revolutionary concepts sought by none Not one of them could care less I am just a pebble in the deepest pond To every depth I am prepared to go But into the darkness they won’t follow Closer to the surface they remain The brightest sun never reaches me The warmth of forever is not mine It belongs as it should to them Live through is this What I must say What I feel the need to always express Nothing more could be said Those few down here with me understand Those like me living life like as we must Truly understand what I’m saying… Live Through This Written by Keaton Foster Copyright © 2013 |
