So once again you fall into the evils of love
Picking the cold ones who tear out your heart
Who use you, attack you and thirst for your blood
You try to do good, but they just leave you scarred

Is there hope when hearts turn cold? All seems destined to fail
When it ends, hate unfolds, the pain endured cloaks your soul in a veil
Of pain - from the hate and despise
Of hurt - your efforts rejected
Of lost hope - the failures realised
Of emptiness - your soul tormented

You run away in fear, you fear getting hurt again
Year by year you cry alone and in pain
The chances of love seem so very few
But you are tough ad you goal is true
Continue the search, but it'll take a while
To find the one who'll make you smile

Never giving up, treading along the path
Shrugging off hate, ignoring the wrath
Knowing what it takes to fill in your hole
