Chapter Three

The supermarket was crumbling to the ground. Dr. Richards drove frantically at high speed, to avoid the smithereens of the supermarket. He weaved in and out throughout the streets like an Olympic skier.

He finally reached the outskirts of the supermarket, and onto the bridge.

“Dude, you have to hurry up.” I said.

         “Why?” Dr. Richards said.

“The bridge is falling down. We have to go to the next level.” I said.

“I'm on it.” Watterson said, pulling out a suitcase.

“Hurry! Once Evan leaves, the bridge will be back to normal.” Dr. Richards said.

Watterson put a suction cup on my face, and I closed my eyes.

                                                 * * *

I woke up in the back of a van. A brown bag covered my head, and I knew I was being kidnapped.

The van shook, and I was pulled out. I felt a tight strap wrapping around my arms, and attaching them to a chair. The hood was snatched off, and I looked around me.

I was in an vacant room. It was painted with white paint, and the only objects was me and the crew.

“How do we get out of here?” Watterson asked.

         “I don't know.” Stephen said.

“We have to get out quick though.” Taylors said.

“The buildings collapsing.” I said, and a loud crack was heard.

Taylors frantically pulled her arms out and summoned a suitcase from thin air. She put three white suction cups on our faces, that were being pulled from the suitcase. My eyelids became heavy, and I closed my eyes.

I woke up abruptly.

Crystal sweat beaded down my fair skin, and onto my thin brown eyebrows.

         “The next level.”Watterson said.

“Yep. It's us three for the rest of the levels.” Stephen said.

“I like this setting. Mount Everest was the perfect place.” I said.

         “Yeah. I think so too.”

“We have to get to the top. It's the safest place to the world ending. We don't have much time though.” I said.

         “How come?” Stephen said.

“Because the mountain is probably going to collapse into the ground.” Watterson said.

         “He's right.” I said, “It's starting now.”
