Life of Regret

Regret was a man that you should not respect
He was also the kindest that you could ever met
Hidden away for most of his life
Lost many chances given to him at the time
The father left when his mother figured out
That if she was so late, a baby was coming about
At the age of 13, Regret still had zero friends
And could hope for nothing, but school to have an end
It was at 23 that he first saw the light
And wished for that woman to be one day his charming wife
But how could that beautiful girl ever love him
When he had so much trouble finding love within?
That’s when Regret decided to sign up to the quest
Of finding out his father and open up his chest
And say that he was an awesome kid and the old man missed out
Some of the best years with him, without any doubts
Regret quit his job and booked up a flight
But something fascinating happened when he said that woman goodbye
The beautiful charming girl said no farewell
Showed up with a bag, saying she was going as well
And so it began Regret’s journey to find self love
When he finally felt he was not alone anymore
