Not so basic colors.
Sometimes the light will separate
emerging from outré prism,
colors beyond ordinary;
ocher as a prime example,
navy, fern, persimmon or pea.
Drab khaki also follows suit
as a secondary color--
recast hues unknown to rainbows
yet nature’s agents nonetheless.

Peach performs playfully with puce,
raspberry rubs palms with raisin.
Indigo insists like navy,
Saffron fawns in view of sulfur.
Much ado about minor hue.
