B a l a n c e

In Summer's dreams, the ruby sky

retreats to night; she wonders why

the rolling storms must dash and rage

and wash the sun from off the stage.

The clouds form rustic timeless art,

extremes of nature play their part;

The ebb and flow of rapids deep

answers in the land shall keep.

Revenge is not the world's affair

with fire and water, earth and air.

Tone and texture, scent, and hue
