“Don’t you have anything better to do?” Norbert asked.

I gave this question some serious thought, tossing it to and fro in my mind like a juggler testing the weight of an impromptu club. Do I have anything better to do? Hmmm. Tough quandary. I ought to check the book (this book was a large leather-bound tome, full of naught but lorem ipsum that I reserved for such occasions). I heaved it onto the table, shaking the house and scattering dust everywhere. I flipped to a random page. Eureka!

“Nope.”

I resumed poking Norbert in the doughy gut.
