Fantasy of two children running from a dragon.
Come on Lucy, lets go down the green slide." Diana said as she jumped on it and away she went. Lucy knew she must go, but the slide began rolling up towards the open door of the cottage. She watched in horror as Diana disappeared behind the door. The windows blinked and the cottage moved. Wait, not a cottage, a large toad.

Lucy thought, the toad swallowed Diana. I must go down and help her?

She saw a giant bird and yelled, "Can you take me down there?"

"Sure, I will fly you down."

Lucy climbed onto his back, and he glided down to the grass.

"Thank you," she said.

"Be careful, things are not what they appear to be, the toad may be dangerous," the bird said.

Walking in the grass Lucy notice how soft and emerald green it was. The trunks of the trees were bright red with large leaves as yellow as the sun and royal blue flowers dangling from the branches. Flowers in primary colors dotted the landscape. She bent to pick one.

"Stop! That hurts."

"I'm sorry, I didn't know you were alive."

"Of course I'm alive! I don't like being pulled on. Would you?" the flower said.

'My name is Lucy and no, I wouldn't."

"Well Lucy, why don't you go back where you belong."

"I would if I could. But, my friend is in the toads mouth and I must get her out."

"The old toad up there?" the flower asked.

"Yes, that one. Good bye." Lucy turned to walk away.

"Wait, wait, come here!" Geez, I didn't mean....well, you hurt me and it made me mad."

"I really must catch the toad."

"Listen, see those green and white stripe rocks over there?"

"Yes," Lucy said.

"Go and pick one up and come back."

Lucy picked a large one she could hold.

"Get in front of the toad......"

"No! He"s dangerous."

The flower fell limp on the ground laughing. "Dangerous, Fangerous!  All he thinks about is his stomach. Now listen girlie, get in front of him. Tickle the bottom of the rock and it will open. He can't eat them unless they open. When he rolls his tongue out, let him have it. Tell your friend to run."

"Thank you!" Lucy said and kissed him.

"Don't slobber on me."

"Good bye," Lucy shouted.

She caught up and ran in front of the toad. She tickled the rock and it opened into a caterpillar.

The toad shot his tongue out. Lucy yelled, "Diana, get out of there, now!"

Diana slipped from the side of his mouth, grabbed Lucy by the hand and they ran.

"I thought you would never get here." Diana said.

"But I did. Do you know how to get us home? "

"Yes, with a turn of this key it will open to our home."

Diana turned the key and poof, there was their home, minus the man and dragon. The two girls held hands and jumped from cloud to cloud home.
