S.O.S Wait, is that still used?

For Luke, life was horrible. He had a great mom, big circle of friends, a smart, cute newborn puppy, and an amazing school record. But what made his life a living nightmare, was his dad. They hated each other but secretly wished that they could have a better father son relationship. Their personalities were complete opposites, and they only a few things in common. The main one was time travel. Both physically fit, and academically geniuses they found that the only way to figure out the solution was if they worked together. However, there was an accident, and they were sucked into a portal to the year 2075 in the future on a deserted island in the Bahamas. Now, Luke and his dad have to survive on their own until they are rescued by somebody.

"I think we have to go clear the trees over there by the forest, and the big pile of shrubs over there next to the beach. Other than that, I think we should have enough space for a signal for help and get off of this place." Said Lukeâs dad. After finally finishing the job, Luke had some time to reflect on what had happened in the past few months. First, they were forced to work together to be able to get the time travel code in correctly, then the blinding light of the malfunctioning time machine whisked them away to the future, and very conveniently, to a newly formed island on Bahamas! Best of all, there is nothing on there but obstacles, and floating trash to make a way back! Thankfully, the both of them are super smart and really fit. So

they can build, and create a way to get off and back to their time. The more time they spent together, the more they bonded and were able to grow closer together. First, they started with simple necessities such as fire and food they catch or find. Fire, wasnât a problem for them because all they needed to do is find some loose driftwood, put them into a pile, and rub two of them together really fast. Or, take a piece of flint and a rock, and scrape one against the other. Food was a problem; the only thing that they could think of was fishing. But they needed something that is dependable. Fish, could start swimming away. So, they planted multiple traps deep in the forest if any animals ever come onto the island. However, it took a while to think of this. But, while they were thinking, Luke went out on his own to build a small wooden dam in a tree to catch rainwater. They also readied some land for farming in case any edible plants were to grow here. While they dug, Luke thought to himself âThis might not be so bad, after all dad is with me and this could become like a bonding activity with him.â

âHey Luke!â Lukeâs father yelled from across the huge trap,â Howâs the other side looking?â

âGreat dad!â Luke repliedâ But too much concealment might not even have a small animal fall through!â

Eventually, they got to making a temporary SOS sign out of the floating trash they found. Occasionally, they also found small pieces of metal floating on top of some garbage. So, they saved that for use later on.  However, they had another problem on their hands: the fish have started avoiding the island and now they need to find a

different food source. But as they trekked around the island and met up later and Lukeâs dad said

âSorry, nothing here. Did you get anything?â

âNope! Weâre doomed.â moaned Luke âBut at least Iâm not hungry yet!â

âDoesnât matter, weâll figure something out.â

Luckily, they were able to find some seeds in the water that was well preserved and usable. So, they quickly fished it out of the ocean and planted it quickly. It didn't seem to grow much in the beginning, so they had to survive on the little fish that they had saved for this exact reason. But soon afterwards, they were able to eat all the fruit they wanted. Next, they had to find a way off of the island. First, they tried to gather all of the metal they could, and stored it away for later when they could repurpose it. Next, they took rocks, wood, and tied them together with the rare wire that they would find in order to make a kind of axe to mend and connect metal so that it can catch the eye of any planes passing over. First, the first thing that they made was a thin, long, and wide metal sheet. They made another one. Now they had enough flat surfaces from the metal workbench to form the huge letters from the S.O.S. signal. It took three days to make the bench, and another three to make the other one. But, it was worth it because it would take half as long to make the S.O.S signal. But after making one S, Lukeâs dad fell and ended up with a deep gash in his legs.

âDad! Are you okay?â Luke yelped in alarm. So, Luke used his shirt to wrap the leg and put wood over the cloth for pressure to stop the bleeding.

An hour later, the bleeding stopped and Luke went back to work on his half of O in shock. After completion of the O, he had to gather some water for his dad and himself. As he walked toward the little dam of fresh water that he had built in the first few hours they were here. However, when he was on the way back, he fell into one of the many traps that were set by he and his dad, and pain shot up his leg. There was a way out, but the problem was that his leg was dislocated and only his dad knew the way out. After an hour, he had figured out how to get out, but without the water. So, he climbed out of the pit with the big branch between his teeth and used that to lift out his makeshift buckets. Soon enough, he was on his way again. However, when he had returned, he found that his dad was working again. Except this time he was leaning on a board that was held to the ground by a pile of dirt and a big rock. His work bench was burned, cut, and thinned in the middle by the time he got back. Luke was extremely worried about his dad but thankful for the fact that 1/4th of the last S was completed. After working for another 2 hours, they both worked together and finished the last S. Then, they fixed up Luke's leg with a handmade splint using metal and some moss growing on trees. Then, they started to work on beds, and other luxuries. But, they had another problem. It hasn't been raining for the last week, and they were running out of water. So, they took an inward bent piece of metal, and filled it with seawater. Then, they put another dome shaped metal bowl over that to catch the steam which will condense to become purified water. They would repeat this cycle until it was safe to drink. But, as they continued to

boil water, Luke saw a flash of silver out of the corner of his eye. When he kept seeing it over and over, he knew that someone or something else was on the island. Cautiously, and silently, he approached the silver gleam. Then, he heard a rustling, and a huge silverback gorilla launched itself out of a tree. Luke was paralyzed in fear while his dad, being the calmer of the two, was quick to react by slamming the board against the massive beast. The gorilla reeled, and roared. Seconds later, about 70 silenced bombers came bursting out of the clouds, and parachuted out of their planes using the entire thing as a bomb. The impact of 50 planes is enough to kill a healthy human, but all that happened to Luke and his father was that they were knocked out. When Luke woke up, he found that he was inside of a bell jet ranger helicopter that had somehow been expanded. When he looked for details of the driver, he saw another gorilla. He thought that he was either going crazy, or the world was overrun by apes! Thankfully, he found that he was tied to gorilla. Panic swelled in the pit of his stomach, and found a shred of his dadâs T-shirt  on his lap, and realized that this gorilla was his father. Then it dawned on him that all the gorillas were once human. He made a silent vow to change his dad to human form no matter how long it took. He followed the gorillas without a word assuming that they would take him to be changed into a gorilla as well. After being changed, his dad went wild and knocked out the guard that was controlling him, the one with the morphing cannon, and the two that were holding Luke down. Luke took the cannon in one of his massive hands, and started to head outside. The entire thing was planned when they were inside of the helicopter. After Luke was hit with the ray, his dad

was supposed to act up and get into the perfect position to knock out the guard that was controlling him, Luke, and the cannon holder. Then, they would get out and go to possibly the only safe place, and the only place with the necessary tools: their house.

When they got outside, they headed for the helicopter that brought them to wherever they are, got in (with the cannon), and flew to their house using the built-in GPS. They found it pretty easily because of the electrical fence, and 30 foot tall barbed wire wall that was used to stop the government. They landed the helicopter, and went in using the handprint scanner they invented so that only the family and guests could get on and off of the property. They went in, dusted off the lab, changed the cannonâs purpose, shot themselves, and felt the endless amount of strength, and the huge body mass and fur fade off of their bodies. They fixed the time machine, and made sure it worked correctly. Then they jumped through and prayed that they would come back to 2014. When they opened their eyes, they were back in their lab and everything was back to same. Except for the fact that Luke and his fatherâs relationship had become the one that they had wanted all along. They also brought a souvenir home from the future: The cannon. But once again, they worked on it and changed its purpose back to its original, but with a few upgrades. This time, they converted it to produce a kind of topical poison that was put into a squirt gun and used it on the puppy. Instantly, and painlessly, the little puppy had transformed into a newborn baby bonobo that was even smarter than before. The souvenir was alive; it was the bonobo. The upgrade was, it will only grow a few inches in its life so it will be life an adult baby that will be cute for all itâs life. Lukeâs mom rarely complained, but when she did, it was about wanting something else to care

for. So, this was their planned surprise for her birthday. After that, they changed, took a shower, got dressed, and went down to see the family.
