Let me know what you think?

Bliss. That's the only way I can describe it. Every feeling ever
lust over, amalgamated into one instance in time. Falling raindrops,
soft but heavy all at once. Sliding smoothly downwards, ferociously
heaved by gravity but aggressively countered by their undying urge to
remain still. Their sound is that of hail on a rooftop, but it would
be a sin if a solid surface could exist in a place so free from the
industrial world. Pillars covered in harshly flaking bark and soggy
moss grow as tall as the eye can see, yet the golden glow of
afternoon sun still manages to squint through their leaves, creating
a decadent decoration of delicate designs that would inspire a fire
in even the most fruitless. Encompassing the eerie rhythm of the rain
is the sweetest melodies of a thousand birds. So far away, they are
quiet but not forgotten.

A lone hammock drapes across two of the trees, its old tethers
held up by the arms of giants. The rope may be worn but its safety is
not to be questioned. Neither it or you will ever reach the floor of
this infinite forest.

Lying beside you on this suspended sheet is a warmth. Your tired
body and heavy mind turn towards it, waiting to be consumed. Waiting
to feel whole again like a busted sandcastle or a hole in the knee of
your favourite jeans, threads broken and a-frayed.

The feeling that comes when it first hits you is always the best.
You could compare it to a light bulb spastically flickering back from
the dead after a power cut. That's what it is. A way to see in the
dark when all hope is long forgotten.

Next its heavy, muscular arms wrap around you, slowly constricting
you like a South American snake. Yet you feel safety, not danger.
Your hair roughly raked away from your face at the speed of a careful
brush stroke. Your nose is met by another. It brushes against you,
soft but rough, smooth sandpaper. Your lips are covered in a warm
exhale. It tastes like the throbbing heartbeat of lust. Because this
is where you go when you need more from the world. This is where you
go when you need the comfort that reality cannot grant you. This is
where you go to sooth your mind, refresh you muscles. This is where
you go to sleep.
