Alone

I'm walking down a lonely road

Carrying a heavy load

I am so far away from home

And I feel so all alone

Slowly as I shuffle my feet

I move on down a darkened street

Lit by only mister moon

I hope that I can get back soon

Demons haunt me in my dreams

I cannot get away it seems

They torment me till the end of days

Till I am warmed by sunny rays

Life will knock you down

And life will pick you up

Life will treat you like a clown

And fill your loving cup

The road back is a lonely one

Traveling that way is no fun

The pain grows greater everyday

Soon I'll go insane I say

So I sit here by myself

All alone like a little elf

Contemplating my strange life

Don't know if I can survive

This is the way it's gonna be

Nasty weather just for me

When you think it can't get worse

That's when you see

The black spot curse

Life will knock you down

And life will pick you up

Life will treat you like a clown

And fill your loving cup

Always in my Heart

One look was all it took

Right from the start

You became a part of me

Always in my heart

Hair of golden eyes of blue

Just like a blueberry tart

As if a dream come true

Always in my heart

Never will I be alone

Like the wheels on a cart

No matter when or where I'll be

At times I do find

When I sit and wonder

Are you really kind

Or are you Angels on my mind

Out there in the field

Where the lazy daisy grows

Gently moving in the breeze

Living life with such ease

Down the hidden path

Where the little fairies live

Gnomes are all around

Hustling to be homeward bound

At times I do find

As I have feelings of romance

Dressed in clean white lace

I reach to touch an Angel's face

Startled now she turns away

And slowly vanish in a haze

A worn out halo I have found

Over by the woods

An Angel stares without a sound

As I reach to touch her face

I feel a love that was not planned

Clean Slate

I am the captain of my soul

I will not bend or break

I am the founder of my fate

We turn our boat

Head first into the tide

Fighting through the storm

I will not run or hide

Wind is blowing through our hair

Spraying raindrops everywhere

Fighting hard through every wave

In this life we must be brave

On and on and on and on

Floating up and down

Rocking back and forth

Sun soaked water drenched

Embers in my Heart

Embers in my heart

Where the loving fire starts

Love is burning bright

The closer to the firelight

Love starts in your heart

Where the ember fire starts

Smiles will help it grow

Take a look and it will show

Ember-heart and smiles

Belong together like turnstiles

Turn each other on

With the power of the sun

Never let the embers die

You need not ask me why

Mandarin moon tonight

A shooting star is a beautiful sight

Violins playing softly now

Candle lit dinners with a raised eyebrow

Dinner, dancing and then a show

If you wanna stay, we could dance real slow

An imaginary world is great

It's a world where you are never late

All your wishes, hopes and dreams

Are covered in sprinkles and nuts it seems

Marshmallow pies in the skies

Chocolate rivers running on by

Mandarin moon tonight

A shooting star is a beautiful sight

All is right tonight

The moon and stars are shining bright

On the couch my cat sleeps curled

As I live in an imaginary world

Limbo Love & The Solar Lights

I'm laying in between

Limbo love and the solar lights

Don't know what to do

As I stare at these beautiful delights

Are neither here nor there

They come out to play at night

And create such a wonderful sight

A little more sugar and not so rough
