So Gorga's confessing, but why? What will happen after Jake finds out her secrets?
Wow, I have no excuse for my absents (I just haven’t had the time for this story) well maybe just one. Well then I guess I have to update this story. I’m making it extra, extra long this time. Like 3 chapters in one! Yay! So, where were we last chapter? Oh yeah, ‘I don’t have a clue’ cliff hanger! So what happens next? Will Jake get the best news of his life or the worst? And when did Jake start loving Gorga? I mean really even I didn’t see that coming and I’m the writer! Okay that was a little off topic. What is about to happen? Let’s find out, to the story. But first a shout out to anyone who reads, rates, or reviews. So on to the story. P.S. This chapter will have the first point of view (POV) change tell me what you think of it.

Chapter 4: Gorga’s confession

10:15 “Sweetie,” mom said slowly. (Oh no she’s playing the sweetie card this can’t be good.) “I got a letter in the mail yesterday, but when I came up to talk to you, you were asleep, so I left and I…” her voice tailed off. “So what is it? What’s wrong?” I asked not sure I wanted to hear the answer. “Well, it’s just that…” “Go on, spit it out!” I urged her on. “I’ve been fired!” mom just blurted out, covering her mouth with her hands, shocked by what she had just said. (Very similar to how I was feeling.) “What? How could this happen?” I asked franticly thinking of every terrible thing that could now happen to us as we have no money coming in and no payments going out. “I don’t know.” She said her voice soft and her eyes cast down. “Mom we could lose the house. What are we going to do?” I asked my head in my hands trying not to cry. (I have to be strong, I have to.) “I don’t know sweetie, I just don’t know.” She murmured quietly, pulling me into a hug. “Mom?” I asked after a minute. “Yes, sweetie.” “Can I go up to Michael’s house?” “Of course sweetie.” She said releasing me from our hug, then getting up and leaving the room. I call Michael and tell him I’m coming up and head off to his house.

10:30 I get to his house and just walk right in. (They know me.) “Jake! How you been? It’s been a while, how long a week, a month, a year?” he questioned, laughing. “It’s been three days Mikey. Do you really need to be such a drama queen? You sound like your sister.” I smiled. (Mikey just has that thing about him how he makes everyone happy.) “She hasn’t been here for a year so how would you know that?” He asked. “She was always one to make her presents known.” I said. “Yeah I guess you’re right. Video games?” “Why else would I be here?” I questioned him with a raised eyebrow. He shrugged, “Because you have no life.” I laughed at that. (I have a life, I just don’t like it.) I walked over, sat on the couch, and grabbed a controller off the stand. “Are you coming?” I asked, picking up the other controller and tossing it to him. “You know it!” he said with a huge smile that had ‘I love life!’ written all over it. (Sometimes you just got to hate people for that, just a little.) I look at the clock on the wall, 5:00pm. “Oh dang, Michael I got to go! I told my mom I’d be back by 5:00 so I’d better be going. Bye.” I waved as I left the house.

6:00 I stand up from the table and walk over to the sink to rinse my plate. “Mom I think that I’m going to go to bed, I woke up really early this morning.” I say as I walk over to the door. “Ok Jake, but tomorrow I’m leaving right after Gorga gets here around 9. I have a few job interviews so I won’t be home till late.” “Yeah, ok night mom.” I called from the top of the stairs. I brush my teeth, change my clothes, and lay in bed thinking about the day I just had and all the questions I need to ask. (I find myself wishing I’d wake up from a dream.) 8:47 I wake up and for a second I don’t remember yesterday at all, (My life was normal or as normal as my life will ever be.) But then it all came back to me and I felt the crushing sensation of reality fall on me. I look at the clock on my stand, 8:48. I get up, get dressed, brush my teeth and hair, and then I sat on my bed to think about all the questions I wanted to ask and narrowed it all down to four that I want answers to, (I need answers to) and waited. 9:00 When Gorga got here I was still sitting in my room so mom sent her up and left. When she opened the door I stood up and took a deep breath. I looked straight into her eyes and my plans to be quiet and civil about this went to the wind and everything just came out. “What were you thinking saying I don’t need to worry about this? This thing we have here is my worry central number one! And saying everything is going to be ok? Nothing in my life has been ok scents I was six. An-And saying I’m good? I’m a terrible person and you should know that better than anyone!” everything came out so fast I was out of breath and anger when I was done ranting. “Why?” I breathed, sitting back on the bed. Gorga was completely shocked out of her words and for a minute she didn’t say anything she just stared at me. She did find her words after a minute. “I don’t know.” was all she said. I looked her strait in the eye she looked upset and the sincerity in her voice sent me over the edge, and I cried. I buried my face in my hands and hot tears kept running down my face and neck. (I expected Gorga to laugh, but I knew she wouldn’t, she doesn’t like it when I cry. She never did.) Then she did something unexpected, she come over and sat beside me, putting her arm around my shoulders in a comforting manner. I was surprised I didn’t expect the kind gesture, (I like being close to Gorga when there isn’t anything sexual between us, it’s nice.) We sat there until I stopped crying.9:10 “Gorga,” I say trying to keep my voice level as I get up and lock my door. (She isn’t getting out of this.) This put her off, but she said nothing. “I need you to give me a real truthful answer to my question, ok?” “Ok.” She said evenly. “Why?” “You’re going to have to be more specific.” She answered, raising an eyebrow questioningly. “You know exactly what I’m talking about.” I said my voice getting louder. “Why should I tell you my reasons for anything?” she asked defensibly. “Just tell me.” I took a step closer to her threateningly, even though I knew I could do nothing to her. Then her gaze hardened and her eyes blazed with a cold fire. “I do it because I can and you can do nothing about it, I do it because I love the look of tortured pain on your face when our eyes meet, I do it because I love to make you suffer.” She finished. For a second I almost believed her, but there was that under tone in her voice that is only there when you lie. “You and I both know that’s not true.” I said fighting to lower my voice and stay calm. “Fine you want the truth, I’ll give you the truth, but I warn you it’s much worse than the lie.” She said coldly, giving me a look that said ‘sit this might take a while’ so I did.

Point of View Change: Gorga

I took a deep breath and just dived right into my story. “When I was a younger my family had a lot of problems, it still does, but let’s just say it was worse back then. My parents had a lot of issues and to them I was just a distraction, a problem, a mistake. They didn’t ever have time for me and even if they were home they put me with a nanny or anyone really. They didn’t love me.” ‘Why am I telling him this? If I keep talking I’m going to end up telling him I love, but I have no ways to show my feelings for I was never taught how to.’ I thought. “But a few years later I found someone who did or I thought I did.” I looked in his eyes searching for judgment or anything, but all I saw were clouded eyes looking off in the distance with an emotion I can’t explain. “To put a long story short I stopped being a virgin when I was eight.” As soon as I finished his eyes snapped to mine. “He did that to you?!” He was mad, his eyes burned with a fire that could have rivaled my own and I have no idea why. “Yes! I know, just… Ugh! I don’t want to talk about it.” I growled, ‘Deep breath Gorga, calm down and just keep talking.’ “Ok, when I was nine something changed that, someone stopped it, a boy he saved me and I never got to thank him…” I trailed off for a second trying to think of what exactly I wanted to say. “Until I turned ten, being a genius gave me plenty of opportunities for jobs and there was this one that was tutoring for a kid. The kid, he was the boy.” I paused for a moment, I knew Jake was smart, I knew he could connect the dots, but it didn’t seem to register in his mind that I was talking about him. “I didn’t know what I really wanted when I took the job, I just knew I had to talk to him. But things didn’t go as planned, I never told him that he saved me, I don’t think he even knew. It was a few months after I started tutoring him when things went south. I had known that I loved him for a long time, but I had a problem with telling him that, I didn’t know how I was never really taught how to show my feelings and it made me angry that I couldn’t. So went the opportunity struck that he would do anything to make me stay…” I stopped, he was staring at me like I was mad, his cheeks had the slightest of blushes, and his eyes had that look again, the one I couldn’t place. “I moved on that note and did the only thing I could do to show my feelings, I got sexual, of course he was a virgin longer than me. He stopped at ten.” I didn’t know what else to say I knew he Knew I was talking about him the whole time now, but the look in his eyes I wish I knew what he was thinking. I could feel pressure build behind my eyes, “Look I’m sorry I didn’t tell you about all of this, but I just couldn’t, I-” I was abruptly cut off when he put his hand on my cheek and crashed his lips to mine. I couldn’t stop it then, the tears started to spill over and run down my cheeks, but I kissed him back.

POV change: Jake

‘She loved me? She loves me. She loves me!’ This was just playing through my mind over and over. I couldn’t believe it. How could she love me, when I hate myself? (I always hated how I look: messy blond hair and green eyes, maybe a sprinkle of freckles, but only a few people have ever told me that. I hate how I look because mom always told me I look like my dad.) I pulled back when she stopped crying. I looked at her I always thought she was pretty, but then I really noticed she was beautiful, with her long red hair and hazel eyes that I stared into wiping a stray tear from her face with my thumb. “B-but, I th-thought you h-hated m-me.” She stuttered unbelievably. “No I never hated you, I hated what you did.” I gave her a sheepish smile, but she turned her head away from me, her eyes cast down. “So you love me, a beautiful girl like you.” I questioned and she looked up at me. “You think I’m beautiful?” she asked. “With all my heart.” I smiled and kissed her again.

I sat up and rubbed the back of my head, ‘What happened? Why Can’t I remember anything after that kiss?’ I thought, stretching. (I’m pretty sure I’ve been out for over an hour, I mean total black out I remember nothing. Not like this doesn’t happen often) I have no idea what happened, but it probably has something to do with my sudden change of clothes. I feel to my side, no Gorga and the beds cold, she’s been gone for hours I’m sure. ‘She got her play time then left sounds like Gorga to me.’ I sighed, wandering what time it was, I look at the clock on my stand 12:30. ‘What? Last time I checked it was only 6:30, I’ve been out for six hours. Ugh, I need a drink.’ I thought climbing out of bed and walking down stairs. I got my drink and a snack, (What? I’m hungry I haven’t eaten in hours.) and was about to sit on the couch to watch TV for a minute before going back to bed, when I noticed a figure laying on the couch. Thinking it was probably mom I walked up o her and was about to put a hand on her shoulder when she shifted and I saw her face clearly. It was Gorga.

“Gorga, Gorga wake up! I need you to tell me what happened while I was out.” I whispered loudly, shaking her arm to wake her up. “Five more minutes Stone, let me be for one more second.” She whimpered, I raise my eye brow questioningly, but didn’t say anything because she soon came to her senses. “Wait, what? Oh, it’s just you Jake.” She sighed and laughed a little. “For a second I forgot where I was. What time is it.” She yawned. “It’s about 12:30.” “In the morning?” she asked looking at me a little funny. “No, it’s dark because it’s the middle of the day.” I said sarcastically and rolled my eyes at her. “Well, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed.” “Yeah, I also woke up on the wrong clothes too.” I said gesturing to my clothes. “Well then.” She huffed turning over. “Please, just tell me what happened while I was out.” I said rubbing my temples. “Ok, but only as long as we go up to your room, this couch it uncomfortable.” “Sure.” I said with a smirk as I held out my hand to lead her up the stairs and to my room.

POV Change: Gorga

“OK what’s the last thing you remember?” I asked, looking into the green eyes I love, with my tired eyes. He looked right back, “After I said you where beautiful and kissed you.” I raised an eye brow. “You don’t remember anything after that?” I asked trying to see if he was just messing with me. “No, but I can guess a little judging by the fact that 1) I don’t even remember having these jeans let along putting them on and 2) you still happen to been here, so I’m guessing we had some ‘fun’.” He said putting emphasis on the word ‘fun’. ‘We had a little more ‘fun’ than you think.’ “You know, you stop remembering things way before you black out.” I said. “What?” he asked. “Yeah, because I’m pretty sure you weren’t officially out until like 9:05.” “So I was only out for like 4-5 hours, and I have no clue what I was doing for two.” He groaned and buried his face in his hands. “Yeah, that sounds about right. And let me tell you, you are crazy when you don’t think about what you are doing. You’re a lot more…”I search for a word, then smiling devilishly, “You’re a lot more ‘fun’.” I said extra suggestively and smirked seeing the look on his face.

Preview of chapter 5: Jake’s POV
‘Oh, no! Not this again!’ I thought realizing what that meant.
