My Building Frustration

The fire is out and I have begun the slow process of turning blue. It could be worse. My distress call has gone through and help is on the way. If only I wasn't so bored, then my maybe I could retain my sanity as well as my health. I wonder how my fantasy team did last night? A grin crosses my face as I look at Tom Brady's stats from last night's game. My frosty glove covered fingers ghost over the title of "EPIC 80-yd touchdown pass!" I click to watch and sit back against the hardwood wall. I glance down a moment later to find that the blue loading bar hasn't moved an inch since I first clicked. I quickly check my internet connection settings. I have 3 bars; there shouldn't be a problem. I wave my phone around in a desperate attempt to both stave off boredom and conjure up an increased internet connection. No such luck. After 5 minutes, I can feel the increased pressure of monotony squeezing my neck with hairy, itchy fingers, continuing its almost holy quest to drive me mad. "Come on!" I scream. The screen changes and I'm instantly relieved to finally watch Tom Brady's epic 80 yard touchdown pass. My happiness quickly beget dread after looking at the screen's message. "We're sorry but your request has timed out." There was a brief calm before the storm before I let my anger loose by chucking my ridiculous neon green IPhone at the opposite. I felt vindicated as I watched the phone shatter. Ha! Take that! The room was completely silent. A heartbeat later I realized that now I needed a new phone. crap.
