Dilemma

Wonder what Love is,
Never knew it, never wanted any,
Completely blissful was I,
In my own little family harmony.

But then you had to come,
Had to shake up my world,
Left Gasping for more,
About the things about to unfold.

I never thought I'll feel this way,
Never fancied anyone before you, till date
But as life has a peculiar way of settings things up
Maybe that's what everyone lovingly calls fate.

This tale is full of complexities,
Unreal,a fantasy to me,
A tale of charming princes like him,
Wanted by many ugly ducklings like me.

Dunno what he sees In me,
Telling me I'm the best,
What is it that attracts others to me,
Making me better or worse from the rest.


I don't know what he feels for me,
I don't want to know anyways,
Rejection by him is gladly welcomed,
But love, oh love is a total waste.
