Perhaps one of the most drown out and kept muffled beliefs is the existence of Kitsunes, not in their physical form, but inhabiting the bodies of humans. These spirits are everywhere and can range from young to old (in Kitsune years). There are many that appear throughout history, and will continue to influence history until they return to their realm, and no one knows how long that will be. There are many iconic Kitsunes, but perhaps the two most iconic are the sister Kitsunes of light and dark. Whenever they appear, history will always be turned upside down, it can be for better or worse, but it will always happen. The light Kitsune is said to have white fur and red markings, and the dark one has black fur and blue markings, almost exactly the same. The light controls the sun and the dark controls the moon, it is sometimes said that they are twins and are always in battle, others say they are just sisters, one older than the other, there are many variations to the myth but it always contains two Kitsunes, one dark, one light, there is no name for the dark one, but the light one is said to be the goddess of Kitsunes, Inari. The humans with the Kitsune souls are said to have powers beyond regular humans, but it is still to be seen whether it is true or not, the powers include telepathy, telekinesis, speaking with the dead, extended life, spirit sight, and many others. With the existence of Kistunes comes other spirits, such as dragons, fairies, harpies, unicorns, death souls, insania spirits, tempest spirits, and so many others, those are just the most common to find. Back on the topic of Kitsunes, they were part of the most deadly wars, the most prosperous times, and the most mournful deaths. There is quite a bit of speculation as to what they were actually involved in, but there are some who say all the leaders in World War II were Kitsunes, Adolph Hitler the dark Kitsune, while Franklin D. Roosevelt was the light Kitsune. These myths could be just that, myths, but I will let you decide if they are myth or reality.
