Day To Night

As the day fades and the night closes in.
The creatures gather in woods near them.
The night is for sleeping and get their rest.
Tomorrow they'll be ready to do their best.

Nature gives what they need for their food.
Rain for their water and soil they conclude.
Soon the Spring will hatch their baby eggs.
And the birds will sing as they give praise.

They'll live off the land until they are strong.
They'll live or die if life's cycle comes along.
The land will furnish all the food they will eat.
When it rains they drink the water they need.
