Mets come alive in 9th to win 3-0
Written by AJ Murphy
The Mets' Jonathan Niese finally got his first win in nearly 2 months. Niese kept the Giants scoreless, and the offense woke up in the top of the 9th inning.
Kirk Niewenhuis, Michael Cuddyer and Johnny Monell got the job done in yesterday's 3-0 Victory over the San Fransisco Giants on the road.
Both Cuddyer and Niewenhuis were on base, and the former Giant doubled two runs home to save the day. The Mets' backup catcher gave the Mets all they needed as far as offense, snaping a scoreless tie.
