Just something I came up with. |
Hopes and Dreams Started off as a kid with big goals. After many years, the possibility of them becoming true sheds light. Calamity strikes with all its might. Death. Hopes and Dreams? Crushed. Ever since then, my body, mind, and soul starts to disappear from this earth. Darkness starts of overwhelm me. My mental state is being plagued with corruption. The thoughts of death are all that I have left. No friend or foe to distract these memories. I've turned into a lifeless object that just happens to exist in this world. My existence has been eradicated. Life is empty at this point. Never would I have thought a person's tragedy could end another's life. The agony that I slowly endure as time passes by. As I carefully plan to pull the plug I hear a voice in front of me. "Hi!" What was that? Am I daydreaming in class again? My vision begins to find clarity and what appears in front of me is a girl. Her beauty was incomparable with anything that I have witnessed. The personality within her had an aura that could make anyone feel happiness. The emotion that I had never felt in ages. "How are you?" she asks. Escaping the trance, I struggled to answer. "F... f... fine. How about you?" I said. "I'm great! Thanks for asking!" She said. I feel like I have seen this girl from somewhere. Before I can say something else the bell rings. "Well it was nice meeting you! See you tomorrow! Oh and before I forget my name is ...". My brain just shut off completely. Euphoria fills every cavity of my dead body. I spend the rest of the day and night reminiscing about this girl. The next morning, I feel a sudden rush of life overwhelming my body. My hopes and dreams are resurrected. The meaning of life rejuvenates. My ambitions are edited. Little did I know the emotion I was feeling was love. The once lifeless and soulless man has been restored into a man full of potential all because of one girl. As I go to school, I see the same girl in the same classroom with the same aura and the same beauty. As I approach the girl with happiness on my face, I said one simple word that would change my life and start a new relationship. “Hi". |
