I carried out a thousand of menial tasks to a meticulous perfection. Arrange venues, calls, catering, there was nothing I couldn’t fulfil with a smile. And eventually I even got close to him. So exciting. Also, I knew how to make an impression. The proper outfit, always elegant but short dresses, and what I would describe as my tremendous charms. You don’t always need to be modest; something I learned with him.

And there I was in the close circle. Just an hour to the debate. I brought the tray with doughnuts and coffee to his hotel room. A proper bite of energy before the big event. I felt the electricity tingling my body. He was on a desk reading the briefings. He turned off the reading lamp and gave me a big smile. That stunning confidence that almost nothing can take down. I went out and laid on the grass, eager and almost ecstatic. I opened the live streaming in my phone, ready to enjoy. There he was.
