Meeting someone new can turn out to be 'The Big Mistake' of your life.

The Big Mistake

A man walks into an antique store. After looking around a little he points at something and said, "That looks like a doughnut to me."

     "What is a doughnut?"

     "I don't know."

"Then why did you say it."

"Um...I…um I just wanted to meet you. And that's the first thing I could think of."

     "Oh, glad to me you."

The man points at something else. "Is that a Fire Lamp?"

"Yes, it is. Would you like to get one?"

"How much does it cost?" The man looks at the cost. "Do you have any more like that one that doesn't cost as much?"

"There are some more over there." The owner points to where the other Fire Lamps are at. "But the cost is the same on all of them."

The man started looking around the store again. Suddenly he points at something else. "What's that?"

Looking at what the man is point at the owner said, "That's a picture."

     "I know it's a picture. I'm asking about what's in the picture."

     "Oh, that's grass."

"So, that is what grass looks like. I've never seen grass before. There hasn't been any on our planet for almost six hundred years."

"Are you going to get anything today?"

"Remember the doughnut comment? I really just game in to meet you."

"Oh, I remembered. I'm about to close my store for the day. Would you like to walk me home? I only live a few blocks from here. We can talk on the way there."

"Yes, I know where you live. Like I said I have been getting up the courage to meet you."

Suddenly, the owner realized she made a big mistake when she asked him to walk her home. A mistake she was about to regret.

The End?
