We're lost at sea, my bulwark's rusted, now.
Dead reckoning, the compass of my life,
has failed. Through murky waters do I plow.
The sound of gulls near shore announce my strife.
So, set awash upon a monstrous sea
my lunar fix no longer guides my sight;
directs me not to anchor near to thee
where calmer waters beacon such delight.
Oh! sad our little voyage might be done
as lapping of the wave sounds close to ground
as if we're harbored near the setting sun.
I pray our hearts be lively when we're found.
Oh! Lost, alone, my *'Flower' follows me;
we set and drift upon a boundless lee.
*(Here, Magoo makes obvious reference to that famous ship, "The Mayflower")
