Ode to Those Who Give a Fuck

Those who truly give a fuck
are passionate and true.
Their fuck is strong and resolute,
Their moon it hangs on you.

They act despite what others think.
Tenacity is strong.
Their fuck's THEIR fuck, they pledge their pledge,
Decision their's alone.

They Skype all night and text all day,
Avail'ty they create.
One eye on you, one on the road,
and patiently they wait.

The fuck of those who pursue you
requires time and space,
Which you will make lest be irate
and anger on their face.

My person says she gives a fuck,
She calls her that to me.
Committed fucking she offers,
Monogamous she'd be.

My one whose fuck I share with heart,
Romance and love I bring.
I fuck with feelings, gifts and time.
Toward her I proceed.

With plans and prep, increased resolve,
I make my fuck more pure.
“I miss you” and “You are the one,”
She's hard not to adore.

But be warned you who do take fucks,
“I am your biggest fan,"
Will often be exposed to be
in the end a sham.

The more a fuck depends on needs,
Dependent, not alone,
The givers of that fuck proceed
To give a fuck, then don't.

But if you do give sincere fucks,
Your heart, your love, yourself,
Don't be jaded by the failured
fucks of someone else.

And if you fuck with all your heart,
Be kind, authentic, true,
Even if others' response
Cries out, “So what, fuck you!”
