A menace since times of yore;
Anger, woes, and frustration galore.
A dismal plight, a sure deadlock,
Hail the dreaded Writer's Block.
Vex not, aye, this curse be broken!
Mix and blend; brew a Witch Potion.
Troll ear, bat wings, skunk stink,
Anything to fix this inability to think.
Boiling cauldron, rising smoke,
Pour squashy slime'n poisoned yolk.
The adhesiveness might do the trick
New, novel thoughts'll begin to stick.
Hissing steam, fire burning bright;
Time to add Dragon Eyes and recite-
“Mighty beast, grant me your sight,
Let me witness inspiration and light.”
Blazing flames, cauldron bubbling hot,
Add to it dollops of ogre snot.
Essence of a ruthless, ferocious brute;
Sloth and inertia will be rendered mute.
Mix and stir; the potion's done.
Battle against writer's block to be won.
Pinch your nose; the smell is vile.
Drink the potion with one big smile.
