In this title I want to inform readers about why I write. |
Writing hasn't always been a passion of mine. Growing up, I read books from other authors and even passed writing and English courses in several classes. In those times, I wrote when I had to do it or when regulation required it. Some may feel this to be conspicuous, but I personally believe that there is nothing wrong with being a conservative, when writing. This all took place from the time of grade school, middle school and Jr. High. This was many many years ago. Now as an adult, about three and a half years ago, I suppose you could say that I fell into a mid-life crisis. I ended up church-less, jobless, and then homeless searching for a way out of all of it. Night after night in the homeless shelter I eventually found, I laid there upon my bed considering different avenues on how I could improve my economic circumstance. So one night, I thought to myself...why not write a book?! It doesn't take a whole lot of experience or money to enter the professional, and I can broadcast my own personal story, and if it becomes a hit, I will have done it! This is the first reason why I now write. To make a long story short, I did write that book! I decided to call it, "The Story of My Life". Now, the book hasn't become a success quite yet, but I was able to tell my story, which you could say was a sub-narrative of the reason I wrote it in the first place. Through this period of writing, I've discovered that I have the talent and gift for writing, and now it has become more of a passion than a profession--thank God! I've begin to love writing now! I practice writing often and I hope to become good enough to generate a substantial profit in the near future! This is the second reason and the general reason why I write! |
